There is no damage of any kind. The motor controller assist levels have been set 17, 27, 45 kph The trike can be run up to 65 kph without damaging the motor. Important note : This version of the Heinzmann drive has a torque sensor rather than a pedal rotate censor. This means the trike handles like a normal trike without a motor. One applies the same pedaling pressure but depending on the assist setting, the trike goes faster. i.e. the electrical assist is not intrusive. |
